Terms of Service

Last updated: April 28, 2026

1. Scope of Services

Safenest Senior Home Cleaning LLC ("Safenest," "we," "us") provides non-medical residential cleaning, light organization, and basic household observation services. We are not a healthcare provider, caregiving agency, licensed home health service, emergency response service, or fall-prevention company.

2. What Is Included

Our standard cleaning includes: kitchen and bathroom cleaning, floor vacuuming and mopping, surface dusting, high-touch surface wiping, trash removal (normal household limits), bed making, and appliance exterior wiping. Depending on the plan selected, services may also include light organization, fridge and pantry tidying, laundry and linens, and a friendly companion-style visit. Each visit includes a basic visual household walkthrough where we note general observations.

3. What Is NOT Included

Safenest does not provide: medical care, medication management or reminders, physical transfers or mobility assistance, bathing, dressing, toileting, or feeding, emergency monitoring, transportation, professional fall-risk assessments, home modifications, pest removal, mold remediation, biohazard cleanup, heavy lifting (over 25 lbs), hoarding cleanouts (unless separately reviewed and agreed upon), or handling of weapons, illegal substances, or hazardous materials.

4. Household Observations

Our visual household observations are informal, non-professional observations made during routine cleaning. They are not safety inspections, medical assessments, or professional evaluations. We may not identify every condition or hazard in a home. Families seeking professional safety assessments should contact a licensed professional.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients or their representatives are responsible for: providing safe access to the home, disclosing known hazards or unsafe conditions, securing valuables and fragile items, securing or containing pets during service, and informing us of any changes in the client's mobility or health that may affect our ability to provide service safely.

6. Unsafe Conditions

Safenest reserves the right to refuse or stop service at any time if our team encounters conditions that may pose a risk to their health or safety, including but not limited to: biohazards, bodily fluids, mold, pest infestations, hoarding conditions, weapons, illegal substances, aggressive pets, or any situation our team deems unsafe. No refund is issued when service is stopped for safety reasons.

7. Pets

We welcome homes with pets. However, pets must be contained or secured in a safe area during cleaning. Safenest is not responsible for pet behavior, damage caused by pets, or pet escapes during service.

8. Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service or as agreed upon in your service plan. We accept payment via cash, check, or digital payment methods as available. Unpaid balances may result in service suspension.

9. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Please see our Cancellation Policy for details on notice requirements, fees, and emergency exceptions.

10. Damage Reporting

If any damage occurs during a cleaning visit, it must be reported to Safenest within 24 hours. We will review all reported damage in good faith. Safenest is not responsible for damage to items not disclosed as fragile, items in disrepair, or pre-existing conditions.

11. Limitations of Liability

Safenest's liability is limited to the cost of the specific service visit during which an issue occurred. Safenest is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to injuries, falls, medical events, emergencies, property damage not caused by our direct action, or outcomes related to conditions we observed or did not observe during service.

12. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Safenest does not guarantee the prevention of falls, injuries, emergencies, illness, property damage, or unsafe conditions. Our services are provided on an as-is basis with reasonable care and diligence.

13. Photo and Testimonial Permission

We may request permission to use anonymized feedback or photos (with no identifying information) for marketing purposes. You may decline at any time. No photos or personal information will be used without your explicit written consent.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Washington County, Oregon.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
